Suffice to say that nearly anything you might want your Drupal site to do is already built into one or more plug-in modules. The number and diversity of plug-ins grows daily and are maintained by an extremely active and responsive community of developers and users of Drupal.

While buiding a fully featured Drupal website is not easily done by a novice, creating a site from basic Drupal and enhancing it with pre-existing modules results in a framework easily customized by a competent web designer with coding skills. This means tremendous savings in time are possible. That translates into a highly professional and fully featured website for substantially less (very substantially) than is possible using proprietary or lesser content management systems.

Probably the best feature of all: Drupal sites are very easy to maintain by a user. Content can be amended, added, removed, and otherwise massaged to keep your website alive and vibrant.
