So, Who is Ageye? We started things back in the early '90s way before Y2K, working with high-end databases for large accounting systems. We Began Focusing on the Internet in 1996. Website design and rudimentary SEO were the hot topics back then. We began acquiring Internet clients, and by 1998 we bought our first online store to learn how, exactly, to build, run and promote an online retail business. |

Since 1996 we have been Internet Marketing Specialists. We are a little unique in that we own and operate sites for our own account in addition to those of our clients. There is a reason for that: It ensures that we truly know and can appreciate the nuances of the businesses of our clients. It also let's us experiment on our own sites instead of those of our clients. When things work well we pass the success on to our client's sites. If something disappoints, our clients are out of that loop. Since 2000 we've added a few online stores to our business. We went through the process of finding that Miva and Yahoo stores were not for us. We migrated them to the X-Cart system, and have regularly updated and maintained them on current versions. So we know quite a lot about being an online merchant. We know a LOT about how to manage, customize, update, and migrate shopping carts. We began hosting our own sites and those of selected clients in 2005. We noticed it was hard to find hosting vendors that could and would respond quickly to our programming and customization issues. We had to wait hours and sometimes days before simple stuff was done to our server just because only our hosting provider had root privileges. So now we're our own ISP and we host our own sites. We host for our clients too, if they wish. Since we run our Verio servers, we have control. Host with us and you'll know that your server is where we have stores too. They don't go down. We began working with Drupal in 2007. We have since created quite a few sites using Drupal and have come to know and love it.
